Frances Arnold is one of the 10 laureates in chemistry, physiology or medicine, economic sciences, and physics to take center stage in Stockholm on Monday, December 10 for the Nobel Prize Award ceremonies. Arnold, the Linus Pauling Professor of Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering and Biochemistry, learned in the early hours of October 3 that she was one of three scientists to receive the 2018 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. She was recognized for her work related to the "directed evolution of enzymes."
