Caltech has myriad resources that support research and teaching in chemistry. In addition to stockrooms and supplies, the division operates and maintains a number of shared instruments. There are also facilities for the synthesis of oligonucleotides and peptides, sequencing facilities, and structure determination labs. There are many centers, specialized labs, campus-wide, and multidisciplinary facilities available.
